Cathy and I went to Chicago my birthday weekend to watch the first-place Dodgers take on the Cubs at Wrigley Field, and to take in the sights and sounds of the Windy City. In addition to attending two games, we took a great architectural boat tour of the Chicago River, made it to the top of the Sears Tower, visited Grant Park and Millenium Park, went to Navy Pier, walked the Magnificent Mile, ate at Harry Caray’s and Pizzeria Uno, and checked out Oak Street Beach. Great trip.
This was also my first chance to really test out the new Canon XSi, so I might have gone a little overboard… you’ve been warned. I’m planning to pick out a brief “best-of” sampling of photos from the games and the city and post them here later, but for now, here’s the whole gallery. Enjoy.
